This Wednesday, October 21st, The Oak (3-4) and Redwood (5-6) groups will be exploring The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park for an entire school day. They will be guided through this biome by Tod Haddow, founder of Standing Tree Nature School. This will be a beautiful way to see a local treasure.

This is yet another wonderful field trip organized by one of our ethnobiology teacher, Kate Jaffe. She has been helping our students see the world around them in a whole new way, and helping them understand the natural history of Santa Cruz through their own relationship to it. What an amazing addition she has been this year!
